Kia of Abilene is HIRING NOW for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer to join our service department.

We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused professional who can serve as the primary liaison between our customers and technicians while delivering an outstanding service experience.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet service customers and identify their vehicle concerns

• Write accurate and complete repair orders

• Communicate recommended maintenance and repair needs to customers

• Provide accurate estimates and expected completion times

• Maintain communication with customers throughout the repair process

• Work closely with technicians to understand vehicle diagnosis and repair recommendations

• Obtain customer authorization for recommended repairs

• Schedule service appointments and manage customer follow-up

• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records

• Explain completed repairs and charges clearly

• Help maximize customer satisfaction and service-department performance

• Build long-term relationships with service customers

• Follow dealership and manufacturer procedures

• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer experience required

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong customer-service and organizational abilities

• Experience with automotive service software and scheduling systems

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment

• Strong sales and customer-relations skills

• Professional appearance and attitude

• Valid driver's license

• Must meet applicable dealership employment and driving requirements

COMPENSATION

$66,000 $102,000 per year

Salary + Commission

Your earning potential will be based on experience, performance, and the dealership's compensation plan.
