Growing together.The Consumer Digital team is seeking a Technical Product Manager to help define and deliver innovative digital experiences across UnitedHealth Group's consumer-facing platforms. Our products help consumers more easily navigate healthcare and access the information, services, and experiences they need. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional engineering, design, analytics, architecture, and business teams to understand consumer needs, translate opportunities into well-defined technical features and requirements, and lead cross functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions that drive measurable outcomes.You will be AI-savvy, using enterprise-approved AI tools to accelerate and improve elaboration, requirements definition, analysis, and delivery while contributing to the responsible development and continuous improvement of AI-enabled consumer experiences. You will also leverage product data, consumer feedback, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the digital experience.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:Partner with business product, UX, analytics, engineering, architecture, and domain stakeholders to understand consumer needs, business objectives, product performance, and emerging opportunitiesTranslate roadmaps and features into clearly defined product requirements, user stories, technical requirements, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and measurable success indicators, using AI toolsOwn and maintain an executable feature backlog across web and mobile experiences, prioritizing work based on consumer value, business outcomes, product data, technical feasibility, dependencies, and delivery considerationsPartner with engineering and architecture to understand end-to-end system flows, technical constraints, integration needs, and solution options, and translate them into executable product requirementsSupport execution from discovery through launch by coordinating requirements, dependencies, readiness activities, and stakeholder alignment within the assigned product areaIdentify and manage product delivery risks, issues, and dependencies within the assigned product area, partnering with affected teams to support timely resolution and escalating when appropriateContribute to the definition, evaluation, and continuous improvement of AI-enabled consumer experiences, including appropriate success measures, monitoring, and feedback loopsMonitor production performance, adoption, consumer feedback and sentiment, quality metrics, and operational issues, using insights to identify improvement opportunities and inform backlog and prioritization decisionsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience3+ years of technical product management or product owner experience delivering web or mobile software applications3+ years of experience defining technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria within a software development framework2+ years of experience using product data, consumer feedback, or analytics to inform product decisions and measurable outcomesDemonstrated written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholdersDemonstrated solid consumer-centric mindset with demonstrated ability to operate effectively in complex, fast-paced technology environmentsPreferred Qualifications:Experience delivering consumer-facing digital products in healthcare Experience delivering or supporting search or conversational AI platformsExperience using AI to improve product discovery, delivery velocity, or operating maturityFamiliarity with product analytics tools, experimentation/A-B testing frameworks, and outcome measurement methodologies*All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
