Human Resources Business Partner

The purpose of the HR Business Partner is to provide consultative services, expertise and HR support throughout BVHS. This role will have a heavy focus in associate relations, project management, and engagement.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership
- Deliver data‑driven insights for decision‑making.
- Participate as a trusted advisor in leadership discussions.
- Collaborate with the HRBP team to ensure consistency across the organization.
Associate Relations & Culture
- Address associate concerns promptly and professionally.
- Conduct fair, well‑documented investigations.
- Coach leaders on communication, conflict resolution, and team dynamics.
- Support leader efforts to improve engagement.
- Promote the Mission, Vision, and Values.
Policy, Compliance & Risk
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and healthcare‑specific regulations.
- Guide leaders on policy interpretation and consistent application.
- Identify risk areas and recommend alternative strategies.
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Partner closely with Corporate Compliance.
Talent & Workforce Management
- Support recruitment strategies and collaboration with recruiters.
- Monitor turnover and partner on retention initiatives.
- Facilitate leader coaching on performance management.
Change Management
- Support organizational changes with clear communication and planning.
- Help leaders navigate transitions and support associates throughout the changes.
Data & Reporting
- Use HR metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
- Provide leaders with meaningful insights.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience with project management with multi-disciplinary teams
- 5 years in human resources with emphasis on employment law, employee relations, and objective delivery of investigations
- Proven leadership qualities with customers and team members
- Proven success in managing conflict resolution
- Ability to deploy critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Individual must be able to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal communication and understanding of organizational structure
- Must be able to multi-task and be confident in their decision-making abilities to work independently
- Demonstrated ability to engage and partner with leaders through strong business acumen to achieve objectives
- A valid driver's license is required (if you do not have a valid Ohio driver’s license you must obtain one within 30 days of your residency in the state). You must also meet BVHS's company fleet policy and insurance company requirements, and any other requirements that may be required to operate a vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior HR Generalist experience
- Prior associate relations experience
Physical Demands
This position requires a full range of body motion with intermittent bending, squatting, kneeling, and twisting. The associate must be able to sit for up to six hours, walk intermittently two hours per day. The individual must have excellent eye/hand coordination. This position requires corrected vision and hearing in the normal range. This position requires excellent verbal skills to communicate with applicants, associates and management. The associate must be able to operate a motor vehicle.
