Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in patient evaluations and treatment sessions.

• Document patient progress accurately in medical records and logs.

• Monitor patient responses and report adverse events to supervising PT.

• Educate patients on home exercise programs and safety.

• Maintain infection control and sanitization protocols in therapy areas.

• Track patient throughput and contribute to pipeline-based planning.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and skill enhancement sessions.

• Set up and maintain treatment equipment and therapy spaces.

• Collaborate with the therapy team to optimize patient care plans.

• Adhere to contract terms and on-site work expectations for reliability.

• Assist with administrative tasks to support daily clinic targets.

Experience/Qualifications

• Current PTA license or eligibility per state regulations

• Monitor patient responses and report adverse events promptly

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant or related field

• Assist with patient evaluations and treatment sessions under PT supervision

• Accurate documentation of patient progress in medical records

• Provide and educate patients on home exercise programs

• Infection control and sanitization protocols in therapy areas

• Track patient throughput and contribute to pipeline-based planning

• Collaborate with therapy team to optimize care plans
