Our mission-driven team is seeking a bold and dynamic Senior CAD Technician who is fueled by high ownership, execution horsepower, growth mindset, and driven to understand our world, science/technology, and life itself, for the benefit of all on Earth and beyond.POSITION SUMMARYWe are looking for a resilient, high-energy, experienced Senior CAD Technician to join Axiom’s Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV) program in support of NASA’s LTV Services (LTVS) contract in partnership with Astrolab. This role requires strong problem solving, organizational, time management, and communication skills. Experience in Extravehicular Activities (EVA) and Extravehicular Robotics (EVR) operations and hardware is desired.Employment in this role is contingent on Astrolab/Axiom being selected as a winner of NASA’s LTVS contract award.KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESPreparing and modifying 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software, mainly SolidWorks.Translating conceptual sketches, layouts, and design notes into accurate technical drawings.Maintaining drawing files, project folders, and version control in accordance with company standards.Reviewing and checking drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to client and regulatory requirements.Coordinating with engineers, architects, and project managers to resolve design discrepancies.Assisting in preparing construction and fabrication documents, bills of materials, and as-built drawings.Supporting digital modeling and design visualization for proposals and client presentations.Performing additional job duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
