Serving as the Accounting Subject Matter Expert, the full-time contract Odoo Accounting Consultant will lead the implementation of Odoo for a growing organization, collaborating closely with finance teams to optimize accounting processes in a primarily remote role with a preference for candidates in the Los Angeles area. Key responsibilities Act as the Accounting SME during the Odoo implementation, ensuring successful translation of accounting processes Collaborate with finance leadership to review workflows and recommend best practices for the new ERP environment Support the design, configuration, testing, and validation of accounting processes within Odoo, including training finance users Required qualifications Strong accounting or finance background with hands-on experience in an Odoo ERP implementation Experience working closely with finance teams during ERP implementation projects Solid understanding of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting Ability to bridge the gap between business users and the implementation team Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
