Senior Manager, Finance Managed Services - Controllership & Record-to-Report | Consumer Industry

As a Senior Manager, Solution Delivery in our Finance Operate practice, you will lead the growth of our Controllership / Record-to-Report managed services offering in the Consumer Industry. You'll lead client solutioning and sales pursuits, build relationships with senior client and Deloitte leaders, oversee opportunity progression, and provide leadership through mobilization and delivery excellence.

This role combines deep accounting domain expertise, managed services solutioning, Consumer Industry experience, commercial acumen, and executive-level client leadership.

Work You'll Do

As a Senior Manager, Solution Delivery, you will:

• Lead and oversee the shaping of managed services solutions for Controllership / Record-to-Report opportunities within the Consumer Industry.
• Lead business development activities, sales pursuits, proposal development, client presentations, pre-request for proposal materials, and request for proposal responses for Finance Operate opportunities.
• Own and manage Finance Operate opportunity flow for the Consumer sector, including pipeline visibility, opportunity qualification, pursuit prioritization, solution coordination, and handoff to mobilization and delivery teams.
• Lead engagement mobilization and provide oversight of ongoing delivery, including governance setup, transition planning, service management, issue resolution, operational reporting, and quality management.
• Drive continuous improvement, standardization, automation, and technology enablement across finance operations engagements.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and Deloitte leaders.
• Mentor and develop team members while contributing to Finance Operate growth, market development, and go-to-market activities.

Our Finance Operate offering provides ongoing operation of the finance function as an extension of Deloitte's broader Finance Transformation portfolio. We help organizations improve finance performance through managed services across key domains such as Controllership / Record-to-Report, FP&A, Treasury, and Finance Technology. Our professionals combine finance domain expertise, operational discipline, technology-enabled delivery, and deep industry experiences to help clients achieve sustainable outcomes at scale.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, controllership, Record-to-Report operations, finance transformation, or related finance operations.
• 8+ years of experience in managed services, shared services, outsourced delivery, or finance operations.
• 8+ years of experience working within the Consumer Industry or serving Consumer clients.
• Demonstrated experience leading solutioning, transition, mobilization, or delivery for finance managed services.
• Experience leading or significantly contributing to business development activities, sales pursuits, proposals, client presentations, or RFP responses.
• Experience managing senior client stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams.
• Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Active Certified Public Accountant license.
• Experience leading complex finance operating model or managed services transformations.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning platforms or finance technologies, including SAP, Oracle, Workday, BlackLine, or OneStream.
• Experience leading process improvement, automation, or service delivery transformation initiatives.
• Experience with account development, go-to-market strategy, or industry eminence.
• 15+ years of experience in finance, controllership, managed services, finance transformation, or solution delivery.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $148,200 to $292,300.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
