Lead High-End Residential Lawn & Shrub Applications at Yard Boss Landscape Design

Job Overview:

• Salary/Pay Rate: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour (Plus Performance-Based Bonus)
• Location: Mattapoisett, MA (30% travel within local service area)
• Job/Employment Type: Full Time
• Project Scope: High-End Residential Lawn and Shrub Care
• Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Massachusetts Pesticide License

The Opportunity :

You will serve as a vital field specialist, independently managing lawn and plant health applications for premium residential properties. Operating dedicated spray trucks and specialized equipment, your expertise will directly drive the aesthetic standard and health of our clients' outdoor spaces. You will work in an employee-focused environment where your individual contributions and technical skills are truly valued.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Manage daily field operations independently, performing high-quality lawn and shrub application services.
• Operate specialized spray trucks and Permagreen spreaders safely and efficiently across high-end residential sites.
• Identify turf diseases, weeds, and pests to accurately formulate and deliver targeted treatments.
• Deliver exceptional customer care and direct communication to foster long-term client satisfaction.
• Maintain complete compliance with state pesticide regulations, safety standards, and environmental practices.
• Keep accurate daily records of application rates, chemical usage, and property visit notes.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of direct turf and plant care application experience.
• Valid Massachusetts Pesticide License.
• Proven hands-on experience in lawn and shrub application methods.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal daily supervision in the field.
• Proficient operating spray trucks, ride-on spreaders, and application machinery.
• Excellent communication skills and strong self-management abilities.
• Valid Driver’s license with clean record 

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• 3+ years of direct turf and plant care application experience.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience servicing high-end residential properties.
