Customer Service Shipping & Receiving

SUMMARY: 2nd Shift 11am to 7:30pm +/-

Responsible for providing a diversity of complex administrative and clerical duties to include but not limited to warehouse and accounting functions with accuracy. The Customer Service S/R Clerk is responsible for contacting QA and immediate supervisor if the quality and integrity of a product arriving or shipping is in question.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:

• Composing routine and non-routine correspondence to personnel and clients.
• Accurately compiling necessary reports as requested; formatting, proof and editing errors.
• Sign in all drivers arriving at the plant for delivery or pick up of loads.
• Report to Warehouse Supervisor on the arrival of truck drivers after the proper procedure has been done to sign the driver in.
• Contact Quality Control, Immediate Supervisor, and Customer if any issues with the quality and safe handling of the product.
• Process inbound and outbound paperwork.
• Responsible for inventory control.
• Receive and process checks and monies due to the company by the truck drivers.
• Download all pictures taken by warehouse team members for each corresponding load.
• Keeping an ongoing log of inbound, outbound loads and seals. 
• Provide excellent customer service to customers, dispatch, and truck drivers always.
• Interact with employees, clients, and guests in a professional manner at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Customer Service experience a plus
• Working knowledge of Microsoft XP and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent typing skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Excellent Math skills
• Ability to operate basic office equipment sufficiently to perform the job.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
• Must make use of all extremities.
• Must be able to reach above shoulders.
• Must be able to see.
• Must be able to identify colors.
• Must be able to hear.
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 20 lbs. +/- (varies)
• Must be able to bend and kneel repeatedly.
• Must be able to climb stairs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Office environment ambient temperature next to Plant Warehouse 22-25 degrees and damp.
• Longer or irregular work hours.
