Phlebotomist II

Location: Urbandale, IA

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: 7:30AM–4:30PM

What You'll Do

• Perform blood collection procedures including venipuncture and capillary collections for patients of all ages

• Prepare and process specimens accurately following established protocols

• Verify patient information and ensure proper labeling of specimens in the patient’s presence

• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company standards

• Deliver exceptional patient service while creating a safe, comfortable environment

• Adhere to all safety, quality, and organizational policies and procedures

• Travel between sites as needed to support patient service centers and in-office locations

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections

• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between sites as needed

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Keyboard/data entry skills and attention to detail

• Ability to meet compliance requirements
