Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients who come in for routine health care or life‑defining health decisions. The PSR I draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing while maintaining accuracy, safety, and confidentiality. Responsibilities Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor. Maintain a safe and professional environment. Collect and process forensic and clinical specimens following established practices and procedures. Maintain required records and documentation. Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public. Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence with patients, explaining procedures and drawing blood specimens skillfully. Qualifications Ability to provide quality, error‑free work in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on‑site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric. Flexible and available based on staffing needs (weekends, holidays, on‑call, overtime). Required Education High school diploma or equivalent (required). Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington). Work Experience Minimum 6 months experience (required). One year or more phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience mandatory.
