Job Summary
Polysomnographer POLY Location unspecified. This position involves performing sleep studies and administering treatments on patients with sleep disorders, including CPAP, oxygen, and Bilevel therapies. The role requires working overnight shifts within a Sleep Disorder unit, supporting patient care and testing procedures.

Job Details

• Position Description: Performs sleep studies and administers treatments on patients with sleep disorders including CPAP, O2, and Bilevel. Utilizes Natus XLtek sleep testing equipment, Resmed PAP machines, and EPIC One Chart electronic medical records.
• Required Qualifications: minimum of two years related work experience in Sleep Disorders field preferred; ND Respiratory Care License and Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification; BLS certification; 12-hour overnight shifts; work guaranteed 40 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Peds experience; experience working with hospital software workflows and sleep testing procedures gained during orientation.
• Schedule: Working 12-hour overnight shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Orientation involves working with day sleep technologists to familiarize with work flows, hospital layout, policies, procedures, and testing procedures. The team operates with a tech-to-patient ratio of 1:2, and dress code requires grey scrubs. ND licensure is required, and prior experience in sleep technologies is preferred.
• Submission Requirements: Clinicians must note if they have previously worked for Sanford Health and ensure their end date is at least 6 months prior to submission if applicable.
