Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Charge Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants (includes $5/hour charge role differential)

Schedule: Weekend schedule (Friday-Sunday); Call: Typically one weekday per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks; Patient ratio 1:1; May float within facility/scope of practice as needed

• Charge RN role with additional compensation for leadership responsibilities
• Comprehensive cardiovascular and thoracic surgical experience including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, LVAD/RVAD, and vascular procedures
• Epic charting system utilized across the facility
• Weekend coverage includes Friday through Sunday rotation
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; facility accepts first-time travelers
• Holiday coverage expected as part of assignment (minimal time off requests strongly preferred)

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Strong clinical skills in cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgery procedures including: Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), valve replacements, TAVR, IABP, ventricular assist devices, carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm repairs, and thoracic procedures
• Community hospital and Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Full compliance required to start on time; late compliance results in two-week delay due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
• All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission
