Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,896 - $1,947 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour days Start date: 08/17/2026 Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital (travel assignment) Responsibilities Perform ultrasonic diagnostic examinations according to physician orders and established protocols Acquire, optimize and document high-quality images; perform calculations and measurements as needed; present findings to physicians Provide direct patient care, assess patient condition, position patients and equipment, and monitor vital signs throughout procedures Maintain ultrasound equipment and supply inventory; ensure proper image storage, documentation, and HIPAA compliance Maintain accurate patient records and assist with image interpretation as directed; mentor or supervise ultrasound personnel when requested Requirements Diploma or certificate from an ultrasound program (Required) Current certification/registration in one or more of the following: ARDMS (AB, OB, or RVT) or CCI-RVS; ARRT in Sonography (S) or (VS); or ARRT-VS or ARRT-S, with certification current or obtained within one year of hire California licensure to practice sonography (or eligible); license to be obtained/completed within one year of hire Basic Life Support (BLS) certification A minimum of two years of recent ultrasound experience Ability to work in a hospital setting and perform patient-facing duties Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours during the assignment 13-week contract duration 3x12-hour shift pattern Assignment-specific support from a dedicated recruiter and clinical staff Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
