Join a diagnostic imaging team providing MRI services in a professional federal healthcare environment in Portland, Oregon.
About the Company:
A leading healthcare staffing organization is seeking multiple qualified MRI Technologists to support diagnostic imaging services at a VA Hospital in Portland, Oregon. These positions provide MRI services supporting the healthcare needs of our nation’s Veterans.
Position Summary:
The MRI Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using MRI and radiologic equipment under the direction of a Radiologist or other medical provider. The role requires recent hospital-based MRI experience and current professional credentials.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI diagnostic imaging procedures.
Prepare and position patients for examinations.
Operate diagnostic imaging equipment safely and accurately.
Produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis and treatment.
Follow established imaging and patient-safety protocols.
Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation.
Collaborate with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of diagnostic radiology equipment experience
Must have worked as an MRI Technologist in a hospital/lab setting within the last 6 months
Successful completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist training program
Current ARRT certification
Current MRI specialty certification
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
Current professional liability insurance
