Front Desk Team Member / Director of First Impressions (D.O.F.I.)

Pay: $15.00+/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-Time | 12-hour shifts | Rotating Saturdays | 30+ hours per week

HealthCARE Express is looking for a Front Desk Team Member / Director of First Impressions (D.O.F.I.) to join our team. Our D.O.F.I. team is often the first and last interaction a patient has with us, so this role is an important part of both the patient experience and the day-to-day flow of the clinic.

What You'll Be Doing

As a D.O.F.I., you'll help keep the front office running smoothly while making sure patients feel welcomed and taken care of. Responsibilities include:

• Greeting and checking in patients

• Verifying patient information and insurance

• Answering phones and assisting patients with questions

• Collecting payments and maintaining accurate payment records

• Scanning and maintaining patient documentation

• Keeping forms and front office supplies stocked and organized

• Addressing patient concerns in a professional and timely manner

• Protecting patient confidentiality and following HIPAA requirements

• Communicating effectively with patients, Providers, and other clinic team members

• Cross-training and stepping in to help wherever needed

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and customer service skills are a must, along with basic computer skills and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Experience in a medical or clinical office setting is helpful, but a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work well with a team are just as important.

Training

New hires may be required to attend a 4–5 day training session in Texarkana, Texas as part of the onboarding process.
