Nurses in this department are adaptable to different units, including specialties, whichsupportflexibility, time-management skills, and critical thinking. Ability to float between multiple Medical-Surgical Units,IntensiveCare Unit (ICU) and Emergency Department 12-hour shifts (7-7);Self-Scheduling Every third or every other weekendrotation options Summary: The Registered Nurse II - Acute Care – MMC BID SAN roleis responsible forthe management of patient care, including clinical nursing practice/caring, leadership, management, professionalism, and growth/development, as well as the independent assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursingrequired; BSN preferred. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurserequired. Current BLS certificationrequiredor mustobtainwithin30 daysof start date. ICU, SCU, ED and PACURN’srequire ACLS and PALS Certifications within one year of start date orin accordance withDepartment guidelines. OB, NICURN’srequire NRP Certification within one year ofstartdate orin accordance withDepartment guidelines. Positions that are fully remote will not require BLS. Experience: One year of RN experiencerequired. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse – Acute Care role . Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency for any RNassistingLaboring Womenrequired. The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package. The pay range for this position is $37.09 to $50.17 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
