Our client is a well-established HVAC company serving both residential and commercial customers throughout the Puget Sound region. They offer a comprehensive range of services including installation, repair, and maintenance of furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioning systems, as well as indoor air quality solutions, duct services, and 24/7 emergency support. Known for their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, they provide their technicians with a fully equipped company van, tools, and a full benefits package. The Commercial HVAC Service Technician plays a vital role in delivering reliable, high-quality service to commercial clients - including office buildings, medical offices, and dental facilities - and is a key contributor to the company's continued growth across the region.
- Diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC equipment across a variety of commercial settings.
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and controls-related issues.
- Service rooftop units and commercial equipment up to 100 tons, with experience on 50+ ton units being highly valued.
- Complete service documentation accurately and maintain parts inventory within the company vehicle.
- Report to the office approximately once per week to replenish stock and submit required paperwork.
- Operate independently from a home dispatch model using a fully equipped company van.
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience required.
- Journeyman-level experience servicing commercial HVAC systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across a range of commercial equipment.
- Hands-on experience with rooftop units and commercial package units.
- Familiarity with HVAC controls is preferred.
- Chiller experience is not required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
