We are seeking a Service Manager for our client Acura of Bedford Hills. Sales are on the rise and our client needs a proven leader to drive growth. You will be joining a dealership with an energetic service advisor team, skilled technicians, a motivated executive team with resources to help you succeed, and a fantastic community reputation. Ground floor opportunity to shape a growing dealer’s service department.

REQUIREMENTS

Previous automotive service management experience is REQUIRED for this position. ASE certifications and/or manufacturer certifications preferred. Large volume point looking for experienced Service Manager. Experience with dealership management systems (DMS) and service management software. Qualified candidates will have a proven track record of managing technicians and service advisors, demonstrate an ability to run an efficient and productive service department, managing a reconditioning department, and show through their work history an ability to generate sales with high customer satisfaction. We are looking for someone who works hard, communicates clearly and is interested in a real career with long term potential, not just a job.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the daily operations of the automotive service department.
  
• Lead, coach, and develop service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
  
• Ensure outstanding customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving service-related issues promptly.
  
• Schedule and coordinate repair and maintenance work to maximize shop productivity and efficiency.
  
• Monitor repair quality and ensure compliance with manufacturer and company standards.
  
• Review and approve repair estimates and work orders.
  
• Maintain department profitability by managing labor sales, parts sales, and operating expenses.
  
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including technician productivity, efficiency, labor gross profit, customer satisfaction, and comeback rates.
  
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental standards, and company safety policies.
  
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
  
• Coordinate warranty repairs and ensure manufacturer warranty compliance.
  
• Collaborate with the Parts Department to ensure timely availability of parts and supplies.
  
• Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and mentor department employees.
  
• Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
  
• Implement continuous process improvements to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
