Must Have:

Programming Languages: Proficiency in Java, Python, and JavaScript

Banking Domain Expertise Commercial Loan Systems

Strong banking domain expertise in commercial loan systems, encompassing the complete end to end loan lifecycle to demonstrate knowledge and hands on experience with complex loan scenarios such as:

Customer onboarding and origination systems.

Funding and boarding across servicing platforms.

Payments, including move money and deposit integrations.

Comprehensive loan servicing and lifecycle management.

Collateral management.

Participation and syndication.

What will the QA Test Engineer Be Doing:

As part of a cross-functional Agile squad, chapter, and tribe, the Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) plays a key role in driving quality engineering practices and delivering test automation excellence.

The primary responsibility is to provide thought leadership within the Quality Engineering discipline while ensuring quality through best-in-class automation strategies.

This includes designing and developing new test automation frameworks using a variety of tools, maintaining existing automation code with high standards, and applying strong software design principles. The SDET leverages creativity and technical expertise to identify innovative approaches for testing complex software solutions.

In collaboration with all members of the Agile squad, the SDET helps define customer and product requirements and ensures their alignment with both product and test code.

They also conduct exploratory testing when necessary.

The role requires active partnership and open communication to share ideas, raise concerns, and adhere to quality policies and procedures as defined by Fifth Third's quality governance standards.

Work as part of an Agile squad, leading quality engineering efforts while collaborating closely with the squad, chapter, and tribe.

Take ownership of test strategy, test planning, framework implementation, and test execution within the Agile environment.

Develop high-quality, Reusable Framework Components, and maintainable test automation code using a variety of automation tools - such as AI for Self-Healing Locators (Applicable for both Katalon and Webdriver IO), AI for Failure Analysis

Design and implement structured, clean, and cohesive test automation and exploration tests for all new features and functional changes. Organize these into repeatable test suites for native mobile applications (if any), browser-based applications and cover user interface and API layers.

Author test cases in test management tools and ensure comprehensive coverage.

Efficiently reproduce reported software issues, analyze data, and collaborate with team members to quickly resolve obstacles and maintain delivery timelines.
