Sr Advanced Software Engineer- Anthem Avionics - Aerospace Careers

As a Sr Advanced Software Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace Anthem Avionics , you will be part of our Anthem Data Communication Systems (DCS) team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex, real‑time embedded communication software functions. You will report to one of our Next‑Gen Avionics Engineering Directors and work out of our North Phoenix, Arizona location (hybrid schedule). For the first 90 days, new hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite Monday–Friday. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute across the full embedded software lifecycle Translate requirements into high‑quality designs for real‑time avionics systems Design, architect, and develop C++ real‑time embedded communication software Integrate Datalink software with other Anthem systems Perform unit, integration, and system testing for mission‑critical applications Execute verification and validation to meet aviation safety and performance standards Contribute to feature definition for the Anthem Datalink product line Support certification and regulatory compliance activities Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics Minimum 6 years of experience designing real-time, embedded avionics software Minimum 4 years of experience developing real‑time embedded C++ software We Value Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar degree.
