Loan Officer

Overview We are Lennar, a Fortune 500® company and one of the nation’s leading homebuilders. This full‑time outside sales position focuses on building relationships with new business sources, meeting prospective customers, brokers, and referral partners, and guiding them through the loan application process to secure approvals within the Lennar Mortgage roadmap. Responsibilities Support the company’s growth through outside sales activities and lead generation. Travel to homebuilding communities, realtors’ offices, and other locations on a regular basis (at least weekly) to solicit new business and/or leads. Conduct “First Time Homebuyer Seminars” and participate in builder and realtor functions, status meetings, phase releases, phone banks, and special events to develop and maintain relationships. Meet with prospective and current customers to explain the company’s offerings, obtain loan applications and required documents, and attend closings. Review leads daily and contact prospective customers via telephone and email to set up in‑person or virtual meetings. Originate and prepare new loans in accordance with the Loan Officer agreement, ensuring all loans meet the guidelines of the Products and Policies manual. Advise and recommend mortgage loan products based on each customer's needs, review interest rates as needed, and lock loans with borrowers in accordance with pricing and rate‑lock policies. Provide assistance to New Home Consultants on pre‑qualifications, supply pipeline status, and maintain reports and notes within the origination system. Meet or exceed closed loan capture rates and other sales goals set by the Division Manager. Maintain accurate records of prospects, customers, loan applications, status, and closing projections. Qualifications Four‑year college degree (preferred). At least three years of loan‑originating experience. Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, including evening and weekend work. Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation. Valid NMLS License or willingness to obtain one.
