Position Title Quality Assurance Specialist Position Type Full-Time, Remote Position Location Arlington, Virginia (Must currently reside in DC, MD, or VA) Tracking Code 01198 Daily Responsibilities Create,updateandmaintainsoftware qualityassurance’stest plans,suitesand scripts for the implementation of procedures to complete quality assurance testing. Exclusively responsible for finding the bugs in the software Develop and implement procedures and test plans for assuring quality in a system development environment which supports databases and applications. Develop,maintain, andupgradesautomated test scripts and architectures for application products. Write, implement, and report status for system test cases for testing.Analyzestest cases andprovidesregular progress reports. Responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Complete test cases to complete input validation as well as data verification Complete an assessment of how software development process is being implementedrelativeto the defined process and recommend methods tooptimizethe organization’s process. Ability to review, recommend improvements, on processes, procedures, and workflows Reporting to the Project Manager, regularly,with regard tothe quality and condition of the testing Researching software products for feasibility and feature-set Years of Experience Aminimum of 8 years of professional experience in quality assurance isrequired. A minimum of 8 yearsrelatedinthe IT security field. Required Degree BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline Allowable Substitution: Additional ten (10) years of related professional experience can be substituted for a BS/BA degree. Required Experience Design,implements, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system and business requirements are met. Expert QA knowledgein order toevaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies. ConductQA audits, reviews and analyzes data and documentation.
