Forklift Operator
This role focuses on accurate order picking, timely replenishment, and safe material handling in a large, fast-paced warehouse environment. You will operate reach trucks and stand-up forklifts, use RF scan guns to fulfill and stage customer orders, and support shipping activities while maintaining high productivity, accuracy, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bi-lingual Spanish skills are a plus but not required.
- Experience staging orders for shipping is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working in a very fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support cross-functional warehouse tasks as needed.
You will work in a clean, large warehouse environment alongside over 100 colleagues on a very fast-paced shift. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with overtime that may start as early as 5:00 a.m. based on operational needs. The role relies heavily on warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, and RF scan guns, as well as desktop applications like MS Dynamics 365 F&O and MS Office. The facility emphasizes safety, organization, and efficient material flow, creating a structured yet dynamic environment where teamwork and clear communication are essential.
Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palatine, IL.
Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
