Materials Handling Associate

Location: Avon, IN

7am-3:30pm and 3:30-midnight available

StaffMax is looking for dependable team members. In this role, you will help move, organize, and prepare products for shipment while ensuring a safe and clean work environment.

Job Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
Receive, store, move, and organize inventory.
Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
Verify products and quantities for accuracy.
Assist in different areas of the warehouse as needed to support production.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience required.
Forklift experience is required (stand-up, reach truck, or order picker), but training may be provided.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Comfortable using warehouse scanners or handheld devices.
Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Comfortable working at heights up to 30 feet when required.
Safety shoes are required

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred.
