Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Experience or strong interest in school-based physical therapy
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
• Proficiency with documentation and progress tracking for students in a school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive physical therapy services to students, promoting optimal access to the educational curriculum
• Assess, plan, and execute therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs
• Consult with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals within classroom routines
• Monitor progress, adjust care plans as necessary, and complete required documentation efficiently
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on student support teams to ensure holistic care
• Educate school personnel and families on strategies to assist students with physical needs in the school setting
