The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial insurance, employee benefits, or financial services sales, along with leadership experience and the ability to develop high performing sales professionals. Job Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales producers.
- Conduct regular coaching and performance development meetings.
- Train producers on the complete sales process from prospecting through client onboarding.
- Monitor CRM activity, sales pipelines, conversion rates, and performance metrics.
- Create and manage individual development plans for assigned producers.
- Support producers during client meetings, presentations, and sales opportunities.
- Develop sales strategies to increase pipeline growth and revenue.
- Ensure adherence to established sales processes and service standards.
- Identify training needs and coordinate technical and sales development programs.
- Participate in virtual and in person client meetings with producers.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and developing new sales professionals.
- Collaborate with leadership, marketing, human resources, and other internal teams.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to growth, profitability, and retention.
- Maintain compliance with documentation standards and internal procedures.
- Participate in hiring, performance management, and workforce planning.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance, employee benefits, or financial services sales preferred.
- Previous experience leading, mentoring, or managing sales professionals.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Active insurance license preferred and required upon employment.
- Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office.
- Proven ability to develop sales teams and achieve revenue goals.
