Junior IT Project Manager

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and cloud services sector, is seeking a Junior IT Project Manager to join their team. As a Junior IT Project Manager, you will be part of the disaster recovery and Cloud Resiliency department supporting cross‑functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Junior IT Project Manager Location: Charlotte NC Pay Range: $43 What's the Job? Manage and coordinate disaster recovery testing for multiple cloud-hosted applications, ensuring testing activities are planned, scheduled, executed, and documented in accordance with program requirements. Partner with application owners, cloud engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, business continuity, and business stakeholders to establish testing scope, objectives, recovery scenarios, and success criteria. Develop and maintain integrated testing schedules, project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and remediation tracking across a large application portfolio. Facilitate test planning meetings, readiness reviews, test execution bridges, post-test reviews, and governance forums. Coordinate recovery validation activities and ensure achievement of established RTO, RPO, and resiliency objectives. What's Needed? 2‑3 years of experience in IT project management roles. Experience in disaster recovery, cloud resiliency, or related preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate multiple stakeholders and testing activities. Experience developing project plans, schedules, and tracking metrics for large application portfolios. Ability to facilitate meetings, reviews, and governance forums effectively.
