Supply Chain Business Manager

Duration: 12-Month Contract with potential extensions Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote Travel: Up to 10% (primarily domestic) We're looking for an experienced Supply Chain Business Manager IV to support a global supply chain organization focused on supplier performance, delivery execution, and operational excellence. This role will partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery, drive process improvements, and support high-volume manufacturing operations during critical business ramps. What You’ll Be Doing Manage supplier performance across commodities including Heaters, Pumps, Linear Motion, COTS, and Distribution Drive On-Time Delivery (OTD/OTDP) performance and supplier operational excellence Plan, schedule, and monitor material flow through the production cycle to meet demand requirements Establish supplier metrics, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives Partner with suppliers to achieve delivery commitments and support forecasted demand Lead process improvements related to procurement, inventory management, and manufacturing strategies (JIT, Kanban, Min/Max, etc.) Collaborate with engineering and suppliers to resolve complex supply chain and delivery challenges Create presentations, process flows, and business reports to support improvement initiatives Monitor supplier costs, support cost reduction efforts, and mitigate unfavorable PPV impacts Drive supplier manufacturing improvements to enhance quality and delivery performance Represent supplier business management on cross-functional commodity teams Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience managing suppliers, global factories, and/or strategic commodities Strong supplier management and delivery management experience Demonstrated ability to solve complex operational and supply chain challenges Experience with ERP systems such as SAP Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including: Macros Data Analysis & Dashboards Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field Preferred Background Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing environments Strong analytical and reporting capabilities Experience working across global supply chains and supplier networks #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
