FCL/LCL Export Specialist (Ocean Freight)

As we continue to grow in the U.S. market, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced FCL/LCL Export Specialist to join our team.

Position Summary

The FCL/LCL Export Specialist will be responsible for managing full container load ( FCL ) and less than container load (LCL) export shipments from the U.S. to global destinations, ensuring smooth end-to-end operations, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute FCL export shipments from booking to final delivery
• Communicate with carriers, truckers, terminals, and overseas offices
• Manage documentation including B/Ls, AES filings, and export compliance
• Monitor vessel schedules, cut-offs, and transit times
• Provide timely updates to customers and resolve operational issues
• Ensure accurate billing, cost control, and profitability per shipment
• Maintain strong relationships with steamship lines and partners

Qualifications

• Minimum 25 years of experience in ocean export (FCL preferred)
• Strong knowledge of U.S. export regulations and documentation (AES, EEI, etc.)
• Experience working with carriers like Maersk, MSC, CMA CGM, COSCO, etc.
• Familiarity with ERP/TMS systems and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment

Preferred Skills

• Experience with direct services and transshipment planning
• Knowledge of drayage coordination and inland logistics
• Multilingual skills (Turkish is a plus)
