In addition to training and career advancement opportunities, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), company-paid life insurance, company-paid short-term and long-term disability insurance.More Than Just a PaycheckThrough our TAC Team, employees also enjoy: back-to-school supply drives, season of giving holiday assistance program, and regular employee appreciation events.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram, set up, and operate coordinate measuring machines (CMMs).Develop, validate, revise, and maintain inspection programs for new and existing products.Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, blueprints, specifications, and GD&T requirements.Perform first article, in-process, final, and receiving inspections.Analyze measurement results and identify out-of-tolerance conditions and quality concerns.Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records.Communicate inspection results and nonconformances to Quality, Engineering, and Production teams.Support root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.Perform routine verification and care of CMMs, probes, fixtures, and related inspection equipment.Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicators.Follow all safety, quality, housekeeping, and manufacturing procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Previous CMM programming and operating experience required.Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T requirements.Experience programming and operating Zeiss Contura CMMs using CALYPSO software preferred.Experience using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicators.Knowledge of dimensional inspection methods, calibration practices, and manufacturing processes.Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, repeatable results.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with computers, spreadsheets, and quality/manufacturing systems.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.Ability to safely handle parts, inspection fixtures, and measuring equipment.Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.Ability to lift and move materials as needed.Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while following all required safety practices.Ability to perform the physical activities required to set up and operate inspection equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
