**POSITION:**
Certified Nursing Assistant, 12 hours per week, 7pm-7am, Saturday & Sunday every other weekend and a holiday rotation

**UNIT OVERVIEW:
VAU -**Long term care of ventilator dependent residents and residents with highly specialized care needs.

**RESPONSIBILITIES****:** * Attend shift report at beginning and end of each shift to ensure good communication between nursing members * Assists patients with activities of daily living which may include dressing, feeding, bathing or any other hygiene needs * Assists the bedside nurse (RN or LPN) with patient treatment and examinations * Takes vital, documents status and gives treatment as directed by Registered Nurse * Participates in patient discharge planning * Performs other related projects and duties as assigned

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE****:** * 18 year of age * Successful completion of the 75-hour state approved nurse aide training program * Active Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in good standing in Nebraska
