Wellness Nurse

Sign on bonus: $5,000. Shift times: 7pm – 7am shifts available. Join our dynamic team at Bickford Senior Living as a Wellness Nurse. The Wellness Nurse supports resident care within the branch, ensuring residents’ daily medication needs are met in a compassionate, dignified way that lets them live their lives to the fullest. PRN employees: 401(k) with match, daily pay, PTO. Responsibilities Accurately follow the resident MAR to ensure medications are given according to physicians’ orders. Understand and follow the “Six rights of medication administration” and Bickford’s medication management policies and procedures. Use the eMAR system for medication administration. Communicate appropriately with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication administration and care. Provide direct resident care and supervise non‑licensed team members as appropriate. Demonstrate Bickford’s mission “Whatever it Takes” to all shift team members. Qualifications Active license as an LPN or Registered Nurse in good standing. Willingness to take additional training or education, as required by specific states. Current CPR and First Aid certifications. Ability to handle multiple priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient organizational and time‑management skills. Good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities. Ability to learn or use Bickford’s eMAR system and other applications.
