Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 5+ years of experience for a night shift position supporting critical care and neonatal/pediatric patient populations.

Details

• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Weekend shifts required as needed for staffing, 7+ per month
• Call and floating required
• Supports adult critical care, emergency department, NICU, and pulmonary function testing settings
• Epic EMR experience required for consideration

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience required; new grads considered
• BLS and RRT certifications required
• ACLS, CRT, NRP, and PALS certifications preferred
• License required if applicable
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Prior travel contract experience preferred
• Experience with ventilator management, airway management, and neonatal/pediatric equipment preferred
• State-issued ID, SSN, and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory care across critical care, ED, NICU, and pulmonary function lab settings
• Perform ventilator management, medication delivery, and airway management procedures
• Care for patients with conditions such as ARDS, COVID, cystic fibrosis, and RSV
• Support high-risk deliveries and neonatal/pediatric transports as needed
• Complete required orientation modules pre-start, with remaining modules finished during orientation and annually
• Gray scrubs required; scrubs not provided
• Local candidates within 90 miles accepted at a lower rate
• RTO limited to 5 non-consecutive days, with only one holiday RTO request approved during Nov-Jan
