Capital Project Procurement Manager (Power Delivery)

Job Title: Mgr., Capital Project Procurement (Power Delivery) Work Place Flexibility: Hybrid Legal Entity: Entergy Services, LLC Job Summary The Manager, Capital Project Procurement (Power Delivery) leads end-to-end commercial and procurement support for Entergy’s capital projects portfolio. This role partners closely with business leaders and stakeholders to develop sourcing and contracting strategies that drive value, manage supplier performance, and support successful project execution across Power Delivery operations. The position is responsible for strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, supplier relationship management, commercial strategy development, and oversight of complex EPC and capital project agreements. The manager also leads procurement professionals, ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and supports contract governance, claims management, dispute resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead commercial procurement strategies for capital projects and Power Delivery initiatives. Manage sourcing, negotiations, contract development, supplier performance, and contract compliance. Partner with business leaders and project teams to align procurement strategies with operational and financial goals. Oversee contract governance, change orders, claims management, and dispute resolution. Drive supplier performance focused on safety, quality, cost, and schedule execution. Support category management, strategic sourcing initiatives, vendor oversight, and risk management activities. Mentor and lead procurement professionals while promoting continuous improvement and strong safety culture. Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Operations, Risk, and other cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or related field; MBA/MS preferred. Professional procurement or supply chain certification preferred. Minimum 5 years of procurement, contracts, purchasing, warehousing, or project management experience. Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience. Experience supporting capital projects, EPC contracts, and utility/energy procurement preferred. Skills & Qualifications Strong commercial acumen and strategic sourcing expertise. Experience managing large, complex contracts and supplier relationships. Knowledge of capital project management processes and procurement best practices. Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with continuous improvement and process optimization preferred. Ability to travel up to 25% to field locations and corporate offices across the region.
