We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will assist the lead teacher in a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment that promotes the healthy development of infants. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education and your ability to connect with young children will inspire their curiosity and love for learning from the very start. As an Infant Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting each child's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth through engaging activities and personalized care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist lead teacher in implementing an age-appropriate curriculum plans that foster early literacy, math skills, physical development, and social-emotional growth.
  • Provide attentive care to infants, including feeding, diapering, and comforting to ensure their well-being.
  • Create a safe and clean classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning while adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Use effective behavior management techniques to support positive interactions and emotional regulation among children.
  • Collaborate with families to share progress updates, address concerns, and support each child's individual needs.
  • Incorporate principles of childhood development and early intervention strategies to promote optimal growth for each infant.

We are a natural play prograam where we let children play outside in all types of weather and using natural materials. They learn through "their play" as we guide individuals at their pace and their developmental stages to reach their goals. Through a chil'd play is truly learning if given new opportunities and nurutred in a POSITIVE manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Have a high school diploma or GED (and proof of)

Have a SS Card & drivers license/ legal Picture ID

Must be at least 18 years old

Must go through a background check, TB test & medical form filled out by physician.

Must be willing to take future early childhood classes at a community college to gain knowledge of early childhood development and to obtain certifications.

Must be physically able to lift over 20 lbs or more, be able to move quickly to maintain safety for all children & and perform all job duties.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Ability to work physically active shifts involving lifting, bending, and sustained periods of standing or walking.
  • Passion for working with children and dedication to fostering a supportive learning environment. BENEFITS:

Monday through Friday (NO WEEKENDS - WOO-HOO!)

8:00 to 5:00 or 8:30-5:30 hours (NO NIGHT HOURS - WOO -HOO!)

Holidays paid off & 2 weeks vacation time in July & December.

You don't have to have experience or education in the ECE field, we will train you.
