Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele nursing experience
• Recent telemetry nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey or compact state eligibility, as applicable
• ACLS certification required
• Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced acute care setting
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient monitoring skills

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Tele unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly communicate changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and document care accurately and thoroughly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support quality patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-centered care environment
