Warehouse Associate W2 Location: Hanover Park, Illinois Salary: $17 an hour Shift: 9 am - 5:30 pm About the Role Warehouse Associate is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Teammates will follow all Insight policies and procedures. Each person is accountable for meeting or exceeding individual and/or departmental metrics. Responsibilities Receiving and documenting product into SAP. Finding locations of product using SAP or client asset management system; preparing withholding tax reconciliation and proactively addressing issues or discrepancies. Verifying quantity and the correct products. Working with lab team to pack product and post goods receipts on finished product. Qualifications High school education or equivalent with at least 6 months of warehouse experience. Knowledge of shipping, warehouse, and safety procedures and some computer experience. Ability to multitask with strong organization and time management skills. Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints within a timely fashion. Ability to communicate in and understand English to the extent necessary to fulfill/perform the essential job functions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. Light to moderate lifting up to 50 lbs consistently. Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate. Must be able to operate a pallet jack and shrink-wrapping equipment. Work Environment Moderate noise (conveyor system, etc.). Ability to work safely around moving equipment such as forklifts and moving conveyors. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to work in changing climate environments, i.e., cold during winter months and heat during summer months.
