Home Improvement Sales Representative

Capital Construction | Full-time | In-home Sales

The Opportunity

Capital Construction is seeking Sales Representatives to help homeowners plan and invest in their next home improvement project. You’ll meet with homeowners through qualified, preset appointments, understand their goals, and recommend roofing, siding, decking, window, door, and patio solutions.

This is an opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, presenting solutions, and closing business. You’ll have access to presentation and estimating technology, a structured sales process, and a comprehensive three-week paid training program to help you learn our products and approach.

What You’ll Do

• Meet with homeowners at scheduled appointments to understand their needs, priorities, and project goals.
• Recommend appropriate home improvement solutions and explain product features, installation considerations, and value.
• Conduct professional in-home sales presentations using Capital’s presentation and estimating tools.
• Prepare accurate project estimates and comprehensive proposals.
• Address questions and objections, ask for the sale, and guide homeowners through the purchasing decision.
• Manage your appointments, proposals, follow-up activities, and customer information using lead management technology.
• Work toward established sales goals while maintaining clear communication and a professional customer experience.
• Participate in training and team meetings to strengthen product knowledge and sales performance.

What You Bring

• At least one year of proven sales experience.
• Strong communication, listening, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence asking for the sale and following through on customer commitments.
• The ability to organize your schedule, manage multiple opportunities, and work independently.
• Comfort learning and using digital presentation, estimating, and lead management tools.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel to homeowner appointments.

Preferred: Experience in in-home sales, outside sales, home improvement, or residential construction. Construction knowledge is helpful but not required; paid training is provided.

Schedule & Travel

This is a full-time, in-person sales role requiring travel to homeowner appointments within your assigned market. Weeknight and Saturday availability is required.

Representatives must be able to commute to Canton, Massachusetts, approximately one day per week. The remainder of the week is spent attending field appointments and completing follow-up and administrative work from home.
