Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Location: Morristown, NJ 07960
Start Date: 06/16/2025 (ASAP, flexible)
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12 hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

 

Job Details:

• Unit: PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)
• Patient Population: Post-operative patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre- and post-operative assessments
  • Emergency response readiness
  • Accurate documentation
  • Patient and family education
• Environment: Team-oriented, safety-focused, patient-centered care
• EMR: EPIC

Requirements

Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only)

Experience: Minimum 1 year PACU or Critical Care experience

Preferred: CCRN or CPAN certification

Licensure: Active RN license (NJ or compact)
