Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in inpatient and outpatient settings and develop personalized treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy interventions targeted at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, discharge strategies, and home exercise regimens
• Keep detailed records of evaluations, treatments, and progress in alignment with facility and regulatory standards
• Participate in care team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure cohesive patient care

Education

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State license as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialized certifications (e.g., in geriatrics or neurology) are advantageous but not mandatory
