Location: USA – Independence, 710 Clymer Ct Division: Solutions Job Posting Title: P&O Assistant Time Type: Full Time Position Summary The HR Assistant supports the human resource department by performing clerical and administrative tasks related to recruitment, payroll, and other HR functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supports the recruiting process, including scheduling interviews, sending background checks, attending job fairs, conducting drug tests, and communicating with candidates. Coordinates the new hire orientation process, schedules orientation, prepares paperwork, and creates employee files, ensuring I‑9 compliance. Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements. Assists with auditing, reviewing, and processing paperwork and forms. Participates in special projects and initiatives such as engagement activities, job fairs, and HR assessments. Maintains confidentiality and performs all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures. Supports the company Open Enrollment period to ensure smooth processing. Supports payroll processing. Performs other duties as assigned. Other Duties Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary. Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities None Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required. 1 year of Human Resources/payroll/clerical experience preferred. Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months, ranging from mild to moderate. Computer Skills Microsoft Office Certificates & Licenses None Language Skills Local language required. Mathematical Skills Intermediate Other Skills Results‑oriented. Excellent organizational skills. High level of interpersonal and communication skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Attention to detail and ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines. High sense of urgency and customer service focus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
