Perioperative Services Assistant

Job Description Participates as a member of the perioperative team by performing various direct and indirect tasks. Job Responsibility * Participates in room preparation and turnover, and other support activities as delegated by perioperative registered nurse and healthcare team members. * Acquires, stocks, and delivers supplies, laundry, and equipment in a timely and efficient manner.

• Uses supplies judiciously and in a cost-effective manner.
• Transports cultures/specimens to appropriate department.
• Answers telephones and communicates professionally and effectively.
• Performs related duties required to facilitate proper and efficient use of

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
