ROLE OVERVIEW We are building a top talent technical product team to support Fashion Nova’s next phase of growth. We have ambitious plans to build technology platforms that will help us scale the company significantly over the coming years. The Product Manager will work closely with our engineering teams as we evolve our Shopify based eCommerce experience to take our user experience to the next level and build data rich tools to enable internal teams to maximize their performance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Technical Product Manager will direct the daily operations of the product teams, analyzing workflows,establishing priorities, developing standards, and settingdeadlines. Create, manage, and prioritize product road map in alignmentwith business goals. Lead product execution from vision, through delivery,and iterating on next steps. The Technical Product Manager willreview project plans to plan and coordinate project activity. Specifically, the Technical Product Manager will meet with Fashion Nova’s department heads, managers, supervisors, andothers, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems. Collaboratewith Engineering, QA, and various business functions to delivernew products. The Technical Product Manager will consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assesscomputing needs and system requirements. Additionally, willdevelop and interpret Fashion Nova’s organizational goals,policies and procedures. Collect and analyze feedback from ourcustomers and key stakeholders to distill down into actionablerequirements. The Technical Product Manager will manage internal and external stakeholder expectations and project scopethroughout the delivery process. Specifically, the Technical Product Manager will prepare and review operational reports and project progress reports and evaluate data processingproposals to assess project feasibility and requirements. Leadproduct development ceremonies (Daily Stand, Sprint Planning,Backlog Grooming, Facilitate Retros, and any ArchitecturalDiscussions). Manage internal and external stakeholderexpectations and project scope throughout the delivery process. Measure and review data to develop improvements and buildnew features. The Technical Product Manager will evaluate Fashion Nova’s technology use and needs and recommendimprovements, such as hardware and software upgrades. Role Requirements Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical andComputer Engineering, or related field, plus two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Technical Product Manager or a related position. Experience must include eCommerce/Retail, Order Fulfillment,Supply Chain, Inventory Optimization Systems, leading cross functionalmeetings such as WBRs, QBRs and Annual Plans; and delivering oncomplex internal/external platform problems with high ambiguity. Collaboration: A track record of shipping and iterating on successful enterprise products|solutions that required partnering with and building consensus across multiple teams, organizations, and|or companies Technical: You have strong technical underpinnings, and are passionate about API’s, systems design, architecture, security, scalability and reliability Communication: Ability to both operate and communicate at a strategic level and dive deep into the technical details and complexity with ease - You can readily communicate highly technical and complex topics to non-technical audiences Execution: Solution-oriented, and able to help the team push through obstacles and blockers to deliver value for our customers Problem Solving: Experience working and delivering on complex internal|external platform problems with high ambiguity and without a clear answer Experience running cross functional meetings such as WBRs, QBRs and Annual plans Accelerated understanding of G-Suite and Microsoft Office BA degree in a related engineering discipline English, additional language(s) an advantage Schedule of this position: Monday – Friday | Core business hours | Onsite 4 days BENEFITS New State-of-the-art HQ located in Beverly Hills Formalized career paths for continued professional growth Comprehensive health insurance across Medical,Dental and Vision 401k match, with immediate vesting upon eligibility Weekly catered lunches & fully-stock kitchen pantry!
