Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Float Pool, specializing in Labor & Delivery (LDR) and Antenatal Care Unit (ACU). This position requires adaptability and the ability to float between multiple units as needed.

Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• Nights - flexible shifts predominantly during nighttime hours
• Every weekend required

Contract Dates

• Start: 11/02/2026
• End: 01/02/2027

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and the antepartum period.
• Monitor fetal health and provide support to patients before, during, and after delivery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care for patients in both LDR and ACU settings.
• Adhere to hospital policies and protocols while providing patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (or compact license)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Fetal monitoring certification (required for LDR)
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, or High-Risk Obstetrics
• Experience in a float pool or multi-unit role is preferred

Vaccination Requirements

• Influenza vaccine required (no exemptions allowed)
• COVID-19 vaccine required (no exemptions allowed)
