Responsibilities

• Perform tissue cutting and embedding for downstream histology processing
• Process tissue samples, prepare slides, and conduct microtomy as required
• Stain, mount, and label slides accurately for microscopic examination
• Adhere to quality control, documentation, and turnaround time standards
• Maintain instruments and supplies, monitor reagent levels, and assist with lab housekeeping
• Follow safety, regulatory, and accreditation guidelines relevant to histology operations

Requirements

• HT (ASCP) certified histotechnologist required prior to start
• Experience in a high-volume histology lab
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical histology environment
• Focus on accurate labeling, quality control, and timely processing
