AccountantWe are seeking a detail-oriented, part-time accountant to maintain our financial records, manage day-to-day ledger transactions, and assist with financial reporting. The ideal candidate provides reliable financial oversight on a flexible schedule, ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance without the need for full-time staff.Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping & Transactions: Record daily financial transactions, update the general ledger, and properly classify debits and credits.Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process vendor invoices, manage bill payments, track customer billings, and handle expense reports.Reconciliations: Perform regular bank and credit card statement reconciliations to resolve cash flow or transactional discrepancies.Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing essential financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and budget variance reports.Tax & Audit Preparation: Gather and organize documents for quarterly reviews and tax return filings.Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.Experience: 2+ years of professional accounting or bookkeeping experience.Software Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.Soft Skills: Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and strict adherence to data confidentiality.Work Hours & ScheduleHours: Part-time, estimated at 20–30 hours per week.Schedule: Flexible or set weekly days to be determined upon hire.About UsKieler Service Center LLC – Our state-of-the-art diesel shop is located in Kieler, WI, just outside Dubuque, IA.
