Occupational Therapist Acute Care

Schedule: 4x10 or 5x8 Days, with shifts typically from 07:00 to 17:00. Coverage needs are primarily Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Weekend work is required for 2 days per month. Time off is approved on an individual basis.

Assignment Details: Assignment length is 13 weeks. No block schedules available. Locals are not accepted; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility. Pending licenses will be accepted.

Requirements: BLS certification, NBCOT certification, Alaska OT License, Minimum 1 year of experience, Experience with Epic EMR system is preferred.

Responsibilities: Evaluate patient conditions and develop treatment plans, Implement and adjust therapeutic interventions, Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes, Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, Educate patients and families regarding treatment and recovery processes.
