Grain Processing Corporation (GPC), a KENT WORLDWIDE™ company, is seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Design Intern to join our Sales & Marketing team for the 2027 summer.This internship offers hands-on experience supporting a variety of branding, marketing, and communications initiatives while working alongside experienced professionals. The ideal candidate is passionate about design, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to projects that support GPC's brand and business objectives. If you're looking to apply your classroom knowledge in a professional setting, build your portfolio, and gain experience across print, digital, web, video, and event marketing, we'd love to hear from you.This paid internship is eligible for company housing or a gas stipend, and provides a collaborative team environment, community events, and valuable experience at a family-owned company!The position is designed and intended to be performed in Muscatine, Iowa.PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare graphics for a variety of digital and print projectsOrganize and maintain digital assetsAssist with web projects as neededAssist with updating marketing collateral and maintaining version controlCreate and update sales and marketing collateralAssist with video and photo production, including shooting and editingAssist with tradeshow and event support as neededPerform other duties as assignedEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTSCurrently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related fieldPreferred: Junior or senior standing at an accredited college or universitySophomore candidates with relevant coursework, portfolio work, and demonstrated design skills may also be consideredPortfolio showcasing design, layout, branding, digital, or related creative work requiredProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointStrong writing, editing, and proofreading skillsAbility to work independently and complete assigned tasks within established timelinesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and administrative skillsDetail-oriented and dependableTeam-oriented with a collaborative mindsetQuick learner with the ability to adapt to new tools and processesHigh sense of urgency and accountabilityAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlinesA portfolio review is required for this position.
