Data Operations Analyst

Salary: $51,700 - 75,000 per year Requirements:

• We prefer a bachelors degree, or equivalent practical experience, coursework, or knowledge in data analysis, programming, or batch fulfillment systems.
• We look for 1–3 years of progressive experience in data analysis, programming, batch fulfillment systems, or related college-level hands-on coursework.
• You should be able to analyze moderate to complex data using logic, quantitative reasoning, problem-solving skills, and sound judgment.
• We expect working knowledge of legal, compliance, and business rules, with the ability to apply them during program execution.
• You should have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to collaborate effectively across teams.
• We need working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Experience with data manipulation and transformation tools or utilities such as Ab Initio or Informatica is required.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Airflow, Control-M, or similar platforms is important.
• You should understand software development lifecycle principles and quality assurance practices.
• You must be able to troubleshoot processing issues and validate system setup, data output, and test results.
• Preferred experience includes credit reporting, financial services, direct marketing, or a related industry.
• We value the ability to work independently, show resourcefulness, and identify opportunities to improve performance and streamline processes.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality work to deadlines is preferred.
• You should be able to collaborate well in team settings, build consensus, and work across different perspectives.
• An interest in learning proprietary systems and applying training to support accurate and timely program execution is desirable.

• We review, analyze, and translate customer and business requirements into TransUnion terminology and system-ready solutions.
• We act as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and operational partners to support custom data fulfillment implementations.
• We analyze data, test results, and program outputs to ensure accuracy, integrity, and alignment with customer business needs throughout the program lifecycle.
• We develop, configure, and execute design concepts, coding standards, and test plans to validate batch fulfillment system setup and output.
• We identify, troubleshoot, and resolve processing issues while maintaining accurate documentation and adherence to required standards.
• We collaborate with teams to turn process designs into repeatable system configurations while ensuring compliance with legal, business, and operational rules.
• We maintain accurate, efficient, and timely delivery of programs in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
• We help identify cost reduction opportunities, process efficiencies, and quality improvements that support department goals.
• We apply software development lifecycle principles and quality assurance practices to support program execution and continuous improvement.
• We complete training in proprietary systems, achieve qualifying scores, and apply that knowledge to ongoing program delivery.
